There Are No Shortcuts

We want to be happy isn’t that the ultimate goal. Success, fame, money should all be the by-products of our work. This is what we expect but there is a difference between expectation and reality. There is a reason so many people dream because it requires almost zero effort. Literally, you can dream anything.

Still, only a handful are able to replicate them. Because fulfilling even a simple dream requires work and effort. People just want the end product without undergoing the process. But the best part of a trip is the journey, not the destination. You have to go through sh*t to value the output.

There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.

— Beverly Sills

Eventually, you have to put in the hard yards. You can play the easy game by continuing to dream or you can give it a shot. It won’t be easy that's why so many of us love to talk, not execution. But you know what it is a win-win situation. If we lose, we will learn a lot about ourselves. We can fine-tune older dreams to make them more realistic.

And if we win, we will learn to dream bigger.
